Target Softening

Target softening involves preventing theft or damage by the forceful attack of a thief, by literally deflecting and/or absorbing the force of the attack rather than resisting it.

An example of this is the ‘spinning bolt’ that closes the ‘E-lock’ design. The bolt is impervious to sawing or drilling as it rotates nd thereby denies the tool any purchase.
