Spray Painting

FINISHING TECHNOLOGIES
Spray painting is the application of liquid borne materials onto a surface. Almost all rigid materials can be spray painted to produce a high quality finish.

The sprayed surface generally has one or more of the following functions: filler, primer, colour, decoration and protection. High gloss, intense and colourful finishes are produced by a combination of meticulous surface preparation, basecoat and topcoat. The quality of the surface finish depends on the skill of the operator. The level of sheen on the coating is categorised as matt, egg shell, semi-gloss, satin or silk and gloss.
