Project run with MA Industrial Design (Course Director: Ben Hughes), Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and created by Lorraine Gamman and Adam Thorpe.
Students were asked to research and document a visual narrative relating to issues of secure cycle ‘parking’ and storage in the home and to create proposals for a cycle parking/storage facility suitable for the types of dwelling common in London. This had to address the needs of cyclists, but also the relevant health and safety and usability aspects.
The brief can be downloaded from the domestic bliss website
