Design for Commercial Spaces seminar. Instituto Europeo de Diseño (IED), Barcelona. July 2008

Marcus Willcocks of Bikeoff was invited to give the paper Design Against Crime as Socially Responsive Design at the Design for Commercial Spaces seminar at Instituto Europeo de Diseño (IED), Barcelona in July 2008. He presented to MA students and staff from approximately 10 countries. The presentation introduces concepts from Design Against Crime and Bikeoff and describes iterative design processes as examples of socially responsive design.

“The Difference is in the Detail…” at IED, Barcelona

Marcus Willcocks of Bikeoff was invited to present The Difference is in the Detail, Public Space, Socially Responsive Design and Behaviour at the Design for Commercial Spaces seminar at Insituto Europeo de Diseño (IED), Barcelona in May 2007. Willcocks presented to MA students and staff from approximately 10 countries. The presentation communicated research published on urban details and perceptions, and presenting tools for design responses.
